“A Day in the Life of Lolita the Performing Orca”, featuring Dr Ingrid N. Visser, produced by Underdog Entertainment for the Orca Network, will be screening as an official selection at the 2015 Thunder Bay International Film Festival. The documentary short follows Dr. Visser as she visits an orca named Lolita, who has been living in the smallest orca tank in the world for the past 44 years.
The festival runs January 21 – 25, 2015 in Alpena Michigan. In partnership with the San Francisco International Ocean Film Festival, this unique festival showcases some of the most impressive ocean and Great Lakes-inspired films from around the world. ‘A Day in the Life of Lolita will screen Sunday, January 25, 2015 @ 1pm at the Sanctuary Theater.
‘A Day in the Life of Lolita’ has screened internationally at some of the top wildlife festivals in the world as an official selection including The International Wildlife Festival in Montana, The San Francisco Int’l Ocean Film Festival, The Green Screen Int’l Wildlife Film Festival in Germany, The Wildlife Conservation Film Festival and Big Apple Film Festival in New York City and received the distinction of Honorable Mention at the 2014 Blue Ocean Film Festival.
